SHARING- Some thoughts!

The Meaning of Sharing has got a new outlook altogether now a days. We share forwards and messages in Facebook and Whats up. It is a matter of happiness & Pride for all of us to read, enjoy and pass on the good ones. Its Impact on each of us that decides the reach & relevance of what’s been shared. In other way does it ultimately help to build love and peace; if the ultimate path to Love and Peace is sharing?

When do you like to share?

You share in the following circumstances: 1) If you have done something incredibly well, 2) If your family & friends have done something incredibly well, 3) If you would like to promote some ideas or message, 4) If you want to build an image of yourself 5) If you want to help some by spreading message.

Good, looks like we all have got the point; anything to add??

The Word sharing also has another perspective: For long it has remained preaching than practice.

Sharing the World, Resources, and Beliefs & Responsibilities without encroaching to what others own. Hence Sharing means Live and Let Live within your boundaries, respecting others rights and with an intention of mutual benefit than exploiting theirs for your benefits. Sharing here does not say give it free; but It’s giving & respecting others rights first. If you want to give excess rights and resources to others with no return of benefit, then it’s called charity. If you share your resources and talents and equip others to have their rights and increased value, there by creating value to you and others is an ideal sharing.  If everybody does their part of sharing well, all have enough and there is no requirement of charity at all. There is equality in sharing but in charity there is inequality.

Intent of word sharing gives you its real output when it’s used for mutual benefits.  If everybody has enough, the resultant is Peace and Love in the world!

It’s relevant to note the words of Jesus Christ here; Give to other if you have two, it’s merely not the objects or money what you have extra, it is also your knowledge, your talent, your ideas, your experience and above all your peace & Love. It is then, an important responsibility, to achieve it for us first and then, give. It is also interesting to note, what you sow, so you reap. So what you have given comes back to you in abundance.

We need to just monitor, is the current scenario in the world proportional to the shares we do? Otherwise it’s time to think about the quality of sharing we do! Next time when we share, it’s important to think about the mutual value we create. Also the value we create to the world for its peace & Love.
